WIND AND SEA and Audio-Technica have joined forces again for the second Sound Burger collaboration. It was first released in the 1980s and became popular due to its unique portable design for vinyl lovers. It was designed to be used anywhere, while cassette players were popular at the time.
This year, the AT-SB727 WS Sound Burger is relaunched with a new color and co-branding by both brands. The collab also includes a limited-edition T-shirt and Multi Record Bag. The T-shirt is white and perfect for summer, while the new record bag has a detachable compartment that's perfect for the Sound Burger.
Starting May 12, the AT-SB727 WS Sound Burger will be available for purchase for ¥39,600 JPY (about $273 USD) at WIND AND SEA and Audio-Technica online stores. Meanwhile, the T-shirt and record bag will only be available for pre-order from May 12 to 18.
The new designs are from the two brands' previous collaboration, but now freshened up. They're perfect for music lovers and collectors who want style and functionality in their gadgets and accessories.
