Max has released an official teaser trailer for Peacemaker Season 2, which stars John Cena as Peacemaker. It will premiere on August 21, so fans can definitely look forward to it.
The teaser features Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) and Economos (Steve Agee), who are reunited with Peacemaker on a new mission. Behind the scenes, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) may also be present, although her appearance has not yet been confirmed.
A key part of the teaser is the entry of Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., father of the late Rick Flag from Suicide Squad. The trailer clearly shows the intense confrontation between him and Peacemaker, which seems to be the center of the new season's story.
As expected, Cena will still be full of action, humor, and a unique style of heroism as Christopher Smith a.k.a. Peacemaker. He is ready to achieve peace no matter how violent it may be.
Peacemaker Season 2 is an R-rated show from the DC Universe created by James Gunn, so expect more intense scenes and deeper stories about legacy, patriotism, and what “peace” really means.
