A woman was caught at a Comelec checkpoint in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija after being found with P1.65 million in cash in her bag. This happened in Barangay Poblacion West on Saturday, a few days before the elections.
The police noticed an eco-bag that was partially open and contained about P1,000 bills. The woman admitted that the bag contained P1.65 million. She also could not show any permission from the Comelec.
