
Pinoy boxing champ Pedro Taduran is ready for battle to defend his IBF mini-flyweight title. He will face former champion Ginjiro Shigeoka on May 24 in Osaka, Japan.
According to Taduran, he is excited for the fight and they have been practicing for a long time with his head coach Carl Penalosa Jr. They have prepared all of his opponent's moves and styles.
Taduran also said that they intensified their training to ensure that the victory would be theirs. They did not ignore any possibility from the Japanese boxer.
In July 2024, Taduran and Shigeoka last fought where Taduran won by Technical Knockout in the ninth round.
Taduran is confident that he will be able to retain his title and bring honor to the Philippines.
