A video of a woman refusing to settle a road rage incident because of the victim's "old" car has gone viral on social media. According to Maricar Enriquez, a Facebook user, they were hit by a brand new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid on April 6, 2025, in front of Robinsons Cainta on Ortigas Avenue Extension.

While walking towards Bayanihan, the woman allegedly did not stop and continued to rush. "I'm in a hurry because... even if I do something with you, you don't have the money to pay!" the Hyundai driver said. When Enriquez spoke to him, the Hyundai driver denied that he was at fault, and even asked about the condition of the victim's car, "Your car is old!" Enriquez pointed at the Isuzu Crosswind.

According to Enriquez, when they tried to follow and fix the incident, the driver of the Hyundai tried to hit them again. He did not refuse when Enriquez tried to videotape the scene and give his opinion. "You were the one behind, you hit us, you ran over us!" Enriquez said in the video.

The video shared by Enriquez has reached 1.5 million views and 1,100 comments. Even other automotive pages like VISOR shared the incident. Many commented and created memes, including an AI-generated image of the Hyundai driver that became a source of jokes and laughter.

Enriquez said they have already reported the Hyundai driver to the police and are considering filing a complaint with the Land Transportation Office (LTO). The incident shows a lack of respect for the Land Transportation and Traffic Code, which states that one should not leave the scene of an accident and must render assistance.
