Good Smile Company has announced the new Nendoroid Akane Tendo from the popular anime and manga Ranma ½! This follows the previous Nendoroid Ranma Saotome (boy & girl versions). This figure stands 10cm tall and is priced at 6,500 yen (approximately ₱2,400 PHP). It is expected to be released in November 2025.
Ranma ½ is a well-known manga by Rumiko Takahashi that ran from 1987 to 1996. It was animated in 1989 by Studio DEEN and reanimated by MAPPA in 2024. It is the story of Ranma Saotome, a martial artist who changes form when he falls into an enchanted spring—turning into a woman when gets wet in cold water and turns back into a man when the water is hot. He finds himself in a complicated relationship with his fiancée, Akane Tendo.
The Nendoroid Akane Tendo features her classic short hair and iconic blue dress. It comes with three facial expressions: smiling face, angry face, and shy face. Plus, there's a super cute P-chan (Ryoga Hibiki)! It can be paired with Nendoroid Ranma for even more fun display!
