A 35-year-old man was arrested in Antipolo City, Rizal after he allegedly raped his 14-year-old daughter in 2024.
He was arrested by the tracker team of the Antipolo Component City Police Station this Tuesday afternoon, March 11 2025, pursuant to a warrant of arrest from the Antipolo Regional Trial Court Branch 73. The suspect was traced to a garment factory in Barangay Dalig where he works.
According to the investigation by the PNP, the incident allegedly occurred on October 3, 2024, right inside their house. The next day, October 4, the suspect allegedly tried again but the victim was able to run and call for help.
The child's aunt reported the incident to the police because the victim's mother works as an OFW in Dubai.
The accused denied the allegations, saying he did not touch the child and that his live-in partner was allegedly taking care of the child. Despite this, the man is now in the custody of the Antipolo CCPS and is facing charges of Qualified Rape and Attempted Qualified Rape with no bail recommended.
