There is a unique comfort to Korean desserts. Perhaps it's because of their soft texture or their just-right sweetness that's not forced, that's why they've found their way into the Filipino palate. One proof of this is the rapid growth of Seoul Snow, a Filipino bingsu brand that has gradually become a national phenomenon in the country.
Seoul Snow is expanding rapidly. The brand plans to open more than 70 branches throughout the Philippines, from malls, kiosks, to crowded areas. It aims to bring the unique Korean snow bingsu with a Pinoy touch to every corner of the country.
At the heart of this dessert is ultra-fine, milk-based shaved ice that resembles the snow-like texture of traditional Korean bingsu. Blending Korean inspiration and local flavors, each serving delivers a trendy and comforting experience for everyone.
The brand also focuses on entrepreneurship. Through a franchise model, it enables streamlined operations, standardized procedures, and cost control. A simple menu and workflow are implemented to efficient operations even in a small space. According to Seoul Snow, ROI can be seen within 2–3 months, depending on location and performance.
Now, the menu has six flavors, divided into two categories: classic favorites like Choco Cheese Snow, Strawberry Cheese Snow, and Ube Cheese Snow, and new exciting flavors like Coco Peanut Snow, Melon Cheese Snow, and Seoul Snow Original. The prices are affordable, ranging from ₱49 to ₱179, perfect for anyone. Starting in Cavite in November 2025, it has expanded to Tagaytay, and is set to open in Davao, Las Piñas, Makati, and other cities in 2026.
With the continued growth of Seoul Snow, it is clearly demonstrated how Korean-inspired flavors become popular and long-lasting when adapted to the tastes and needs of Filipinos.
