A personal driver and assistant has filed a complaint with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against an actress and two beauty queens for alleged physical assault, torture, and serious illegal detention. According to the story, the incident allegedly occurred inside a condominium unit in Makati City after he was accused of taking private photos.
The complainant alleged that he was assaulted and tortured, including having alcohol sprayed in the eyes and physically assaulted, while several bodyguards were present. He added that he was detained from leaving his residence for several days. Due to extreme fear, he allegedly tried to escape by jumping from a high floor, but was stopped and brought back by security personnel.
On the side of the accused, their legal counsel insisted that one of them had previously filed a complaint against the driver for qualified theft, which was later dismissed. They also strongly denied the allegation of illegal detention, since the driver was allegedly a resident as part of his job. For now, both sides are still waiting for the next step while the NBI investigation in the case continues.
