Fujifilm has introduced the instax mini Evo Cinema, a hybrid instant camera that combines stills and 15-second video clips in a single compact device. It's designed for creators looking for a more cinematic way of storytelling, where the QR code on the print can be scanned to view the embedded video—an elegant bridge between digital and physical memories.
Standing out is the Eras Dial, a creative control feature with 10 visual and audio effects inspired by different decades such as the 1960s and 1980s. Each effect has 10 adjustable levels, providing up to 100 creative combinations. Combined with analog-style dials and film reel sounds, it offers a multi-sensory experience with classic character and modern control.
The design clearly pays homage to the brand's heritage. The vertical grip and print lever are inspired by the 1965 FUJICA Single-8, with a modern twist for today's generation. In addition to being a camera, it also functions as a smartphone printer and a creative tool with app-based cinematic editing—a retro style ready for innovative content creation.
