According to Victor de La Riva, entertainment manager of LaVie, “Malate used to be known for its nightlife and tourism. We want to bring back the old vibe and attract tourists here.

Many foreign tourists visited and enjoyed the variety of food and activities. A family from Michigan expressed their enjoyment of the bazaar. “It was fun, lots of food and shopping,” said Katarina Rothmorn.
For local vendors, the bazaar is a great help especially in getting their products recognized. According to Nahumi Makiling of ENSS Shop, “We now have many resellers and our market has increased from Cavite, now Manila as well.”
With the large number of visitors every weekend, organizers and vendors believe that this steady crowd will help in the rise of Malate as a popular destination in Manila.
