The Marikina Town Center of the Federal Land has officially opened the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park and a new FIFA-standard football field. This is the beginning of a happier and more vibrant holiday season for families, food lovers, and sports fans in the city.

The Toyota Tamaraw Food Park features a variety of Tamaraw food trucks offering local favorite food. According to Masando Hashimoto, President of Toyota Motor Philippines, their goal is to support local businesses and provide the community with a fun place to eat and hang out. Nine food trucks were introduced at the opening, including dishes from celebrity chefs, Yahu! Kitchen, Boynita, Kusina ni Kambal, Overflow Café, Kape Talyer, and What’s Poppin’.

The celebration was also accompanied by the return of the NakakaLocal Food Fest, featuring Marikina's renowned MSMEs. From November 26–30, local vendors such as Café Rajah, Crumbly Crust Café, Kalye Classics, Katip's Food Hub, Ligaya’s Chicken House, Mang Romaurk’s Ihaw-Ihaw, Matteau’s, and Tsokorado. They serve a mix of classic and modern Filipino cuisine that is perfect for holiday food trips.

Near the food park, a new 100x68-meter FIFA-standard football field with bleachers for 250 people was also opened. According to Jose Mari Banzon, President of Federal Land, the new field aims to give Marikina a space for sports, games, and community unity.

Marikina Town Center will continue to be upgraded. This includes the redevelopment of the Blue Wave Mall and Petron station, which are set to reopen in early 2026, along with new sports courts and additional commercial and residential spaces.
