
Toyota recorded its highest sales in October 2025, with 20,404 units, or nearly 51% of the market. It led the industry while other brands struggled to sell.
Overall, passenger car sales decreased by 18.8%, while commercial vehicles increased by 6.3%, representing almost 80% of total sales. In commercial vehicles, Category I (Asian Utility Vehicles) increased by 17.2%, and Category II (pickup trucks and SUVs) increased by 3%.
Electrified vehicles also saw significant growth. HEVs increased by 73.9%, PHEVs rose by 192.6%, while BEVs slightly decreased by 25% compared to the previous month.
For 2025 (January–October), total sales decreased by 0.2%, but commercial vehicles increased by 7.9%. Toyota, Mitsubishi, and other brands saw mixed performances, while some like Changan and GAC struggled in the market.
