The Peugeot Polygon Concept brings a new look to the car with Hypersquare steering, a unique square-style controller that looks like something out of a video game. Peugeot says it will be ready for production by 2027.
At the heart of the innovation is Steer-by-Wire technology. The traditional steering column is gone as it has been replaced by electronic signals for faster and more precise response. There is no need to cross your arms when parking or cornering because the steering wheel can turn up to 170° on each side, making control more instinctive and agile.
Inside, a more modern experience is provided. The old instrument cluster has been removed and replaced with a Micro-LED display directly projected onto the windshield, providing clearer information to the driver. The Polygon Concept is a working prototype made from recycled materials and 3D-printed parts, demonstrating Peugeot's focus on sustainability.
Overall, Peugeot is pushing the limits of HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and showing what the next generation of cars could look like in the future.
