GoPro has released three new products: the MAX2 8K 360° camera, a mini action camera with built-in light, and an AI-powered gimbal that is compatible not only with GoPro but also with other gadgets.
For the first time in over a decade, there will be no new HERO flagship camera this year. Instead, the company has chosen to focus its lineup on a new range of products and continue the HERO13 Black from last year.
The GoPro MAX2 is the highlight. It's a dedicated 360-degree camera that can record True 8K video, using dual swappable lenses. It has 10-Bit Color, GP Log encoding, and six microphones for clearer sound. It can also capture 29MP 360 photos, has AI tracking features, and has a 1,960mAh battery that lasts even in extreme weather. It is priced at ₱28,500 (USD $499.99) and is available for pre-order, shipping on September 30.
Also included is the GoPro LIT HERO, a mini 4K action cam with a built-in light. It can record 4K 60fps video, has slow-mo mode, is waterproof to 5 meters, and weighs just 93 grams. A full charge lasts up to 100 minutes. It is priced at ₱15,400 (USD $269.99), shipping on October 21.
The new GoPro Fluid Pro AI gimbal is also no slouch. It has 3-axis stabilization, interchangeable mounts, built-in fill light, and 18 hours of battery life. It is compatible with smartphones and cameras weighing up to 400g. It also has reverse charging so it can be used to charge other devices. It is priced at ₱13,100 (USD $229.99), available starting October 21.
