A24 has released a second trailer for the film Smashing Machine, which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as MMA and UFC fighter Mark Kerr.
Smashing Machine is the story of Kerr's life and career. It also stars Emily Blunt as Kerr's ex-wife, Dawn Staples. Also appearing are Ryan Bader and Oleksandr Usyk as fighters Mark Coleman and Igor Vovchanchyn, while Bas Rutten, former coach, will play himself.
The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival where it received a 15-minute standing ovation. The performance brought tears to Johnson, director Benny Safdie, and Kerr herself.
Smashing Machine will be available in theaters starting October 3 for approximately ₱650 per ticket.
