Apple launched the new AirPods Pro 3 at its event on September 9. The new wireless earbuds have enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a Live Translation feature for easier communication even in different languages.
AirPods Pro 3 are designed to be smaller than the previous model to better fit a variety of ear shapes. They come with foam-infused ear tips in five sizes, which help provide more effective ANC—which Apple says is twice as strong as AirPods Pro 2.
One of the biggest updates is Live Translation powered by Apple Intelligence. It can translate words and sentence meanings hands-free. It can also record and translate the user's response and display it on iPhone. It is initially available in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, with Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified) to be added in a future update.
In addition, the new earbuds are also more durable and workout-ready thanks to IP57 water and sweat resistance. They also include a heart rate sensor that can monitor up to 50 exercises, calories burned, and heart rate. There is 8 hours of battery life for continuous listening, and up to 10 hours in transparency mode with hearing aid function.
The AirPods Pro 3 can be purchased in the Philippines for ₱14,990.
