The human body was found in the trunk of an impounded Tesla registered to d4vd, a rising US rap star in Hollywood.
Neighbors of the tow yard called police on Monday, Sept. 8, due to a foul odor coming from the area. When officers arrived, they found a decomposing body wrapped in plastic in the front trunk of a vehicle.
The car is registered in Texas in the name of David Anthony Burke, known as d4vd. He was scheduled to perform in Minneapolis on Tuesday, Sept. 9, as part of his world tour.
Despite the incident, d4vd continued to post on social media to promote his new album, but made no mention of the body found.
The tow yard where the body was found is near the newly opened Tesla Diner in Hollywood, which has become known for its large crowds.
