The CIDG seized more than P2 million worth of fake shoes at a shopping center in Pasay City on Thursday afternoon.
Nine people were arrested after being caught in the act of selling and branding shoes.
According to the report, operatives raided six stalls where approximately 738 pairs of fake shoes were seized.
The suspects are now facing charges under Republic Act 8293 or Intellectual Property Code.
The operation is part of an intensified campaign against the sale of counterfeit and unlicensed products in the city.
