Mercedes-AMG has released the first teaser for its new creation: the CONCEPT AMG GT TRACK SPORT. It is designed for extreme performance and shows the brand's plans to expand the AMG GT family. Hailing from Affalterbach, the TRACK SPORT is built to chase record lap times, and images have been released of a camouflaged prototype ready to hit the track for testing.
While full specs have yet to be revealed, Mercedes-AMG has confirmed that the car will use a V8 powertrain, a tradition of the AMG GT series. It follows the second-generation AMG GT coupe due in 2023, and will add a more track-focused, motorsport-inspired model to the lineup.
