Basketball star Caitlin Clark is once again making waves on the court—not just with her game, but with her shoes as well. She's wearing the new Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Cookie Monster” PE, a special colorway inspired by the popular Sesame Street character. The all-blue design is reminiscent of Cookie Monster's fur, while the shoe's tongue is colored brown to resemble chocolate chip cookies.
Clark, who currently has a partnership with Nike Basketball, is known for his Player Exclusive (PE) shoes. Last month, he released the Kobe 5 Protro “Indiana Fever” for his team. While he is still waiting for his own signature shoe, he continues to release new and unique designs.
Although the "Cookie Monster" PE is not expected to be released to the market yet, there is a possibility that it will be released in the future—especially since several of his previous PEs have already been made available to the public. So for sneaker fans, stay tuned for future updates.
Despite a groin injury she suffered at the start of the season, Clark bounced back and earned her second WNBA All-Star honor. With her age and experience, she continues to be one of the biggest names in the WNBA.
As of now, there has been no official statement from Caitlin Clark or Nike on when or if the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Cookie Monster” PE will be released. But with the growing fan base of her shoes, many are hoping to see it in stores one day.
