7 people are dead after a massacre at a bakery in Barangay Cupang, Antipolo, police said today Tuesday.
According to PCol. Felipe Maraggun, chief of the Rizal police, the crime stemmed from a conflict or misunderstanding. Antipolo police confirmed that a multiple-murder incident occurred at the bakery this morning.
A tanod from the barangay reported a "stabbing incident" so the police immediately responded. At the crime scene, 7 bodies were found.
The suspect voluntarily surrendered at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, in Quezon City.
The investigation is still ongoing to determine the full details of the crime and the suspect's motive.
