The Ordeñiza family is mourning the passing of their son as the mother seeks justice for her son's death. Frince Ordeñiza, 24, was a store manager at a large hotel in South Road Properties (SRP) in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.
Ordeñiza was shot in Ayala while riding a motorcycle to his job. The suspect stopped at a traffic light on J. Luna St. corner Samar Loop in Barangay Luz in Ayala on Holy Monday, April 14, 2025. According to the victim’s mother, who did not want to be named in an exclusive statement to XFM Cebu 88.3, they do not know the reason for Frince’s killing other than a possible “suya or sina” at work.
The mother said that her son Frince sometimes said that he was tired at work and that he had co-workers who did not obey him and sometimes ignored orders. After the incident, Frince even begged for medical treatment but he did not survive.
Frince Ordeñiza is now lying in state at his home and the funeral is scheduled for this week, April 27, 2025. Police officers from Mabolo Police Station-4 are continuing their investigation to determine the details of the incident. According to PMaj. Romeo Caacoy, chief of Mabolo Police, they are looking into all angles to determine the real motive behind Frince's death.
