A 24-year-old woman, Priyanka Rawat, died after falling from a rollercoaster at the Fun N Food Water & Amusement Park in Delhi on April 3, 2025. The incident occurred at around 6:15 p.m. while she was with her boyfriend, Nikhil Singh, 26. According to authorities, when the ride began, Rawat's fall occurred just seconds after the rollercoaster began. She fell from approximately 20 feet.

Singh told police that they had enjoyed the water rides at the park earlier. When they arrived at the amusement rides, they immediately chose the rollercoaster. According to Singh, when the ride started, Rawat fell to the ground within seconds. The cause of the fall was determined to be a broken seatbelt, according to the investigation. He had wounds on his right leg and holes on his left leg as well as other wounds.

Rawat was immediately taken to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The rollercoaster was immediately shut down and authorities began an investigation. Police have begun questioning the ride operator and other staff. The plan includes a mechanical inspection of the rollercoaster to determine what happened.

Authorities have filed a case of negligence and causing death by negligence against those responsible. Despite the incident, the park reopened for the weekend of April 5 and 6. According to Santokh Singh Chawla, owner of the park, this is the first time such an incident has occurred in their 33 years of operation and they are assisting in the investigation.
