A 14-year-old died after drowning at a private resort in Plaridel, Bulacan recently.
Police identified the victim as Markhin Dylan Nana, who drowned at around 1:45 p.m. at Casa Cirila Private Resort in Barangay Bulihan.
According to initial investigation, the victim joined a friend who was celebrating a birthday at the resort.
While bathing in the pool, Markhin drowned and his friends tried to save him. He was rushed to La Consolacion Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival by the doctor.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing to determine other details.
