Bell & Ross introduces their latest watch, the BR-03 Astro. Designed to reflect the spirit of space exploration, the watch has the Earth, Moon, and Mars moving on its dial, connecting the wearer to the wonders of the universe. A small satellite determines the seconds by making a full orbit around the Earth in 60 seconds, while the Moon shows the minutes and Mars follows its orbit to show the passing time.
Housed in a 41mm-wide case made of micro-blasted black ceramic, the glass of the dial is sculpted to form a spherical cap, providing a realistic representation of the Earth in volume and decal. The weight and position of the hands have been carefully calculated, especially to support the carved Moon, ensuring a harmonized and balanced design. The watch
The BR-03 Astro is inspired by the Cupola, the observation dome of the International Space Station (ISS), which serves as a porthole to the planets. This design requires meticulous attention to detail, including the decal process under the glass to maintain precision and legibility. The heart of the watch, the BR-CAL.327 self-winding movement, ensures continuous time of around 54 hours.
Limited to 999 pieces, the BR-03 Astro is currently available on the official Bell & Ross webstore priced at $4,800 USD.
