Japan's Bandai Toys has released a new "MOVIE MONSTER" toy from the popular tokusatsu and monster-themed soft vinyl toys series. Introducing the latest product, "Hedorah Matcha Dessert Color Ver.," which will be sold exclusively at the official GODZILLA STORE, expected to be released on February 14, 2025.
The "hedorah" monster featured in the movie Godzilla vs. Hedorah is a charming "pollution monster" originally from outer space. Arriving on Earth, it was affected by pollution and turned into a giant creature from individual creatures that contained toxic sludge and other pollutants from the environment. Hedorah's body is made up of toxic sludge, so most physical attacks on it are ineffective. Its poison can melt the skin of Godzilla itself.
Although Hedorah's costume in the movie was not very attractive, when it became a soft vinyl toy, the creativity of the design came out. In the toy, Hedorah is presented in a colorful style, featuring a variety of vibrant colors. The new "Hedorah Matcha Sweets Color Ver." has a transparent base with a gradient color from light green to dark green, and gold paint that promotes the elegant appearance of matcha sweets with gold flakes.
