Renowned statue company Design COCO has launched a new product featuring the popular character from VTuber group hololive production, ほうしょう まりん (Houshou Marine). This figure is 1/7 scale and has an estimated price of 27,500 yen. It is expected to be released in December 2025.
ほうしょうまりん is a character from hololive Fantasy (the 3rd generation of hololive). In the story, she is a girl who loves jewels, treasures, and money, and her goal is to become a pirate to find treasures. In order to buy his own pirate ship, he works as a VTuber on land. Fans often tease him because of his "17-year-old" age, which is a subject of jokes in the community.
Design COCO collaborated with ほうしょうまりん (Akasa Ai), a popular artist, to design the exclusive art used on the figure. The 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 201mm tall including the base. The details of the figure are accurately represented, such as the golden edges of the dress, lace, and leather textures, as well as the accessories with metallic paint that show a rich texture. The figure's hair and facial expression are artistically displayed, as well as Marine's cute hand gestures, which show her beauty and charming personality. The base of the figure is inspired by a treasure chest with a realistic aging effect and full of gold coins.
