Ang ‘My Hero Academia’ live-action movie ay opisyal nang umuusad matapos ang kumpirmasyon mula sa Netflix. Si Shinsuke Sato, direktor ng Alice in Borderland, ang mamumuno sa proyekto, habang si Jason Fuchs naman ang nagsusulat ng script.
Ayon sa panayam, ang orihinal na creator na si Kōhei Horikoshi ay aktibong kasali sa bawat bahagi ng paggawa. Binabasa at nire-review niya ang bawat pahina ng script. Sinabi ni Fuchs na hindi uusad ang proyekto hangga’t wala ang approval ni Horikoshi, kaya siguradong mapapanatili ang emosyon at tema ng orihinal na kwento.

Wala pang casting updates, ngunit inaasahang magiging malaking produksyon ito sa industriya ng anime adaptation. Sa kasalukuyang palitan, kung sakaling maglabas ng ticket o merchandise, inaasahang aabot sa ₱500 hanggang ₱1,000 ang presyo depende sa uri.
Ang pakikilahok ni Horikoshi ay nagbibigay ng tiwala sa mga fans na mananatiling buhay ang puso ng ‘My Hero Academia’ kahit sa live-action na bersyon.
