Ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ay nagsilbi ng arrest warrant laban kay Sarah Discaya kaugnay ng P96.5 milyong ghost flood control project sa Davao Occidental.
Dalawang arrest warrant ang ibinigay sa kanya. Ayon kay President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., si Discaya at siyam na iba pa ay may kaso na graft at malversation, at ang mga ito ay hindi pwedeng piyansahan.
Sinabi rin ng Pangulo na walong opisyal ng DPWH ang nagpakita ng balak na sumuko. Dagdag pa niya, tuloy-tuloy ang imbestigasyon at pagsasampa ng kaso laban sa lahat ng may kinalaman sa mga kaduda-dudang flood control project.
Ang Office of the Ombudsman ay naghain ng kaso sa RTC ng Digos City noong Dec. 5, 2025. Ayon sa reklamo, ang proyekto sa Jose Abad Santos ay hindi naman talaga ginawa kahit nailabas ang pondo.
Noong nakaraang linggo, kusang sumuko si Discaya sa NBI kahit wala pang warrant noon, at sinabi niyang ginawa niya ito para sa kanyang kaligtasan.
