This is not the previous 7-seater MPV; instead, it is a <strong data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"557\">five-seat compact SUV<\/strong> with a more modern design and dimensions of 4,745 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height. With an aggressive price starting at <strong data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"713\">P 1,821,000<\/strong>, it is clearly targeting the growing EV market in the country.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"1472\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Under the hood, the <strong data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"813\">Captiva PHEV<\/strong> has a 1.5-liter engine partnered with an electric motor for a combined <strong data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"930\">204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque<\/strong>. It has a <strong data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"970\">20.5-kWh LFP battery<\/strong> that can achieve approximately <strong data-start=\"1008\" data-end=\"1044\">90 kilometers of pure electric range<\/strong> and up to <strong data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1091\">1,000 kilometers of combined range<\/strong> with gasoline. Meanwhile, the <strong data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1142\">Captiva EV<\/strong> is a pure electric with the same 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque, but has a larger <strong data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1260\">60-kWh LFP battery<\/strong> that provides up to <strong data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1313\">415 kilometers of range<\/strong> on a full charge. Both are compatible with <strong data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1385\">AC and DC fast charging<\/strong>, with the EV variant able to accept up to <strong data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1471\">120 kW DC fast charging<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1474\" data-end=\"2148\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The new Captiva is designed for <strong data-start=\"1511\" data-end=\"1535\">space and stability<\/strong>, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase, independent suspension, and 18-inch wheels. On the outside, the <strong data-start=\"1639\" data-end=\"1696\">automatic LED headlights with intelligent high-beam<\/strong>, rain-sensing wipers, panoramic sunroof, and power tailgate stand out. On the inside, the <strong data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1835\">black soft-touch materials with copper accents<\/strong>, PVC leather seats, and 6-way power adjustable driver\u2019s seat feature. The centerpiece of the cabin is a <strong data-start=\"1917\" data-end=\"1987\">15.6-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto<\/strong>, 8.8-inch driver display, automatic climate control, and a smart key system with walk-away auto lock\u2014a clear testament to the premium experience being targeted.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2857\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">When it comes to safety, the Captiva is no slouch either. <strong data-start=\"2221\" data-end=\"2278\">6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control<\/strong>, and a 360-degree camera come standard.
