With global sales down, many are wondering how the iconic brand will ever return to <strong data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"722\">profitability<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"1112\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to Starrs, the company's <strong data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"798\">top priority<\/strong> right now is <strong data-start=\"825\" data-end=\"851\">cost savings<\/strong>, which could include <strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"903\">workforce reductions<\/strong> as part of broader restructuring efforts. He said, \u201cWe are conducting a thorough review of our <strong data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1046\">operating expenses<\/strong> and manufacturing capacity to match current demand.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1522\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Milwaukee union workers are once again on edge over news that their jobs could be affected. Among those potentially affected are <strong data-start=\"1122\" data-end=\"1152\">white-collar employees<\/strong> in addition to production roles. According to Brad Dorff, Steelworkers sub-district director for metro Milwaukee, the planned layoffs are not limited to just one segment of the workforce.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1807\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">As Harley-Davidson explores possibilities for <strong data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1603\">cost-cutting<\/strong>, it is clear that this has an impact on their <strong data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1666\">corporate structure<\/strong> and overall operations.
