The defense pointed out that thousands of pages of documents need to be reviewed before the trial can proceed.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"1100\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The prosecution shared that approximately <strong data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"881\">4,000 pages of documents<\/strong> need to be pre-marked, and only half of them have been completed so far. The court allowed both sides to continue the process within <strong data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1069\">five set dates<\/strong> until <strong data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1099\">February 13, 2026<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1437\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The court also allowed <strong data-start=\"1129\" data-end=\"1189\">attendance at hearings via video conferencing<\/strong> for accused persons in custody, in accordance with a new policy that will allow for more efficient progress of cases. However, it was clarified that <strong data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1388\">physical presence<\/strong> is still required when there are specific court orders.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1794\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Meanwhile, <strong data-start=\"1450\" data-end=\"1463\">the court denied<\/strong> the motion for <strong data-start=\"1492\" data-end=\"1519\">joint ocular inspection<\/strong> of the alleged ghost flood control project, and set the hearing on <strong data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1621\">motions for bail<\/strong> after the pre-trial.
