data-start=\"320\" data-end=\"331\">Grok AI<\/strong>, the artificial intelligence chatbot developed by xAI, after promising to adhere to stricter <strong data-start=\"436\" data-end=\"464\">digital safety standards<\/strong> in the Philippines.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"751\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to the <strong data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"547\">Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC)<\/strong>, negotiations with the AI \u200b\u200bdeveloper resulted in modifying some of the system's capabilities for the local market, specifically features that could be used to create <strong data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"750\">illicit deepfakes<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"1001\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The ban was implemented in January after regulators identified the risk of <strong data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"880\">non-consensual and sexual content<\/strong>, which was considered a threat to <strong data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"944\">women and minors<\/strong>, prompting the immediate blocking of access.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1239\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Under the new agreement, xAI has pledged to remove <strong data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1096\">image manipulation features<\/strong>, ensure <strong data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1159\">complete exclusion of pornographic content<\/strong>, and strengthen protection against <strong data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1238\">child sexual abuse material (CSAM)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1494\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Although the <strong data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1272\">ban<\/strong> will be lifted, the CICC stressed that they will continue to <strong data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1323\">monitor<\/strong> the platform to ensure continued compliance with the country's <strong data-start=\"1387\" data-end=\"1410\">laws and regulations<\/strong> as the formal implementation of the technical rules
