According to <strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"538\">police<\/strong>, a resident saw the puppy carrying something, so he approached it until <strong data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"651\">the baby's head fell off<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"656\" data-end=\"981\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Initial <strong data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"687\">investigations<\/strong> suggested that the baby may have been abandoned by an unknown <strong data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"741\">individual<\/strong>. Authorities attempted to search for the baby's <strong data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"816\">body<\/strong> 50 meters from the scene, but it was never found. The <strong data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"898\">mother of the puppy<\/strong> was found, and there was <strong data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"931\">blood in the dog's mouth<\/strong>, so it is possible that the <strong data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"966\">dog ate the body<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1219\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The <strong data-start=\"1010\" data-end=\"1019\">police<\/strong> are now searching for the baby's mother and others possibly involved in the <strong data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1088\">abandonment<\/strong>.
