The <strong data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"469\">Federal Communications Commission (FCC)<\/strong> has made it impossible to sell the latest drone releases from companies based in <strong data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"560\">China<\/strong> and other foreign countries.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"875\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The <strong data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"620\">FCC<\/strong> has officially included the <strong data-start=\"625\" data-end=\"675\">import and sale of all new drone models<\/strong> and essential drone equipment by foreign companies on the so-called <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"764\">\u201cCovered List.\u201d<\/strong> According to the US government, these companies are considered <strong data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"875\">\u201cunacceptable risk to national security.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"1267\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Customers are still allowed to purchase <strong data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"951\">current DJI models<\/strong>, including the new <strong data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"986\">DJI Neo 2<\/strong>, but <strong data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1030\">future drone models<\/strong> not made by <strong data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1066\">U.S. companies<\/strong> will no longer be released to the market. This is a major blow to <strong data-start=\"1122\" data-end=\"1129\">DJI<\/strong>, which holds approximately <strong data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1194\">70% of the global drone market<\/strong> and is the main supplier of <strong data-start=\"1222\" data-end=\"1255\">consumer and industrial drones<\/strong> in the United States.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1718\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The reason for the ban is contained in the <strong data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1362\">National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2025<\/strong>, which ordered <strong data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1404\">DJI and Autel Robotics<\/strong> to undergo a <strong data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1453\">formal security audit<\/strong> within one year. Because the audit <strong data-start=\"1483\" data-end=\"1512\">was not conducted<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1547\">FCC<\/strong> was automatically ordered to place all DJI drone services and equipment on the Covered List. According to critics, the process was deliberately <strong data-start=\"1651\" data-end=\"1676\">delayed<\/strong> to fully implement the ban.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1720\" data-end=\"1964\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">For those <strong data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1768\">who already own DJI drones in the U.S., there's nothing to worry about.
