LTO Chief Markus Lacanilao announced this in a press conference.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"799\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">According to the report, the driver injured the man carrying the cart and a child. The driver and the owner of the cart appeared before the LTO in a hearing in Quezon City. The driver admitted his mistake and promised not to repeat it.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"969\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lacanilao advised the driver to accept the punishment. He also said that the driver was possibly drunk at the time of the incident, and that his actions were hurtful.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"1153\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The owner of the cart shared that he was able to save his son before he was hit. Meanwhile, a video of the incident went viral showing the driver beating him before someone stopped him.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1311\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Comedian Pokwang, the driver's sister, apologized to the public for her brother's actions.
