He said there could also be a <strong data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"816\">special license<\/strong> for e-bikes and e-trikes.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"1100\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">LTO's <strong data-start=\"864\" data-end=\"880\">Greg Pua Jr.<\/strong> agreed, saying that Acting Sec. Giovanni Lopez of the <strong data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"955\">DOTr<\/strong> has ordered a study on licensing e-bikes and e-trikes. He said that if they exceed <strong data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1063\">50 kilos<\/strong>, they must be <strong data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1097\">registered<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1295\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Tulfo advised that there could be a <strong data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1162\">special lane<\/strong> for the registration of e-trikes. The LTO also suggested giving e-trikes a <strong data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1246\">unique ID<\/strong> because they do not have a chassis number.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1508\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to the LTO, e-trikes that are not <strong data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1349\">registered<\/strong> before <strong data-start=\"1355\" data-end=\"1368\">January 2<\/strong> and used on national roads will be <strong data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1418\">apprehend<\/strong>.
