According to <em data-start=\"397\" data-end=\"440\" data-is-only-node=\"\">LRTA Administrator Atty. Hernando Cabrera, they are doing everything they can to ensure that there are no <strong data-start=\"491\" data-end=\"501\">malfunctions<\/strong> in the trains every day.<\/p><p data-start=\"526\" data-end=\"789\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">He also said that all <strong data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"576\">station facilities<\/strong> such as escalators, elevators, and <strong data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"627\">comfort rooms<\/strong> are in <strong data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"659\">good condition<\/strong>. There has been no change in <strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"704\">train deployment<\/strong>, but all transport operators have been instructed to prepare for the <strong data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"788\">holiday rush<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"1019\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Cabrera mentioned that there is a need for <strong data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"852\">additional trains<\/strong> because currently only ten are running on LRT-2. They are asking for <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"934\">funds<\/strong> to purchase additional trains and serve the growing number of commuters.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1212\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">While there are no new trains yet, he assured that the <strong data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1092\">10 existing trains<\/strong> are operated daily, especially during <strong data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1147\">peak hours<\/strong>, and are maintained to prevent any damage while on the line.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1351\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">LRTA also ensured that there was <strong data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1263\">medical equipment<\/strong> such as wheelchairs, stretchers, and <strong data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1308\">AEDs<\/strong> ready for use in case of an emergency.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang LRT&nbsp;ay nagbigay ng assurance na magiging maayos ang operations ng LRT-2 ngayong inaasahang dagsa ng pasahero at shoppers sa holiday season.
