According to HPG spokesperson Lt. Nadame Malang, the operation on Nov. 17 was conducted following a tip from a concerned citizen about vehicles with <strong data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"562\">improvised or no license plates<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"955\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The vehicles\u2014including <strong data-start=\"609\" data-end=\"620\">Ferraris<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"637\">Nissan GTRs<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"655\">Toyota Supra<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"678\">Toyota FJ Cruiser<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"703\">Toyota Land Cruiser<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"715\">BMW<\/strong>\u2014were found to be <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"739\">unregistered<\/strong>. The LTO seized them while records verification continues. They are also being investigated for any <strong data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"881\">connections to the Discaya family<\/strong>, which has been implicated in allegations of <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"954\">tax and customs violations<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1236\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Malang revealed that they have received information that some luxury cars allegedly connected to the family are possibly being <strong data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1056\">traveled and sold<\/strong>. It is also doubtful whether any <strong data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1167\">transactions<\/strong> took place because the vehicles took more than an hour to arrive at the gas station.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1642\" class=\" translation-block\">Meanwhile, only three of the seven <strong data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1295\">Discaya luxury cars<\/strong> were sold at the <strong data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1326\">BOC auction<\/strong>, earning <strong data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1355\">\u20b138 million<\/strong> from the target of \u20b1103 million. These included the <strong data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1430\">Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1461\">Mercedes-Benz G500 Brabus<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1466\" data-end=\"1487\">Lincoln Navigator<\/strong>. The other four units, such as the <strong data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1541\">Rolls Royce Cullinan<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1565\">Bentley Bentayga<\/strong>, did not receive any bidders and will have their <strong data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1641\">floor price<\/strong> reviewed again.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1644\" data-end=\"1830\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The HPG and LTO continue their broader operations against <strong data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"1729\">unregistered vehicles<\/strong>, including the anti-colorum drive where several commuter vans were also confiscated in Southern Luzon.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/article><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang Highway Patrol Group (HPG) ay nakasabat ng 7 unregistered luxury cars sa isang gas station sa NLEX, Marilao, Bulacan.
