They expressed <strong data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"807\">grave concern<\/strong> over the use of <strong data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"839\">water cannons<\/strong> and actions that could pose a risk to navigation and aviation in the area. They insisted that the <strong data-start=\"942\" data-end=\"966\">2016 arbitral ruling<\/strong> is <strong data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"981\">binding<\/strong> and must be respected by those involved.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1305\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The group further said that there should be no <strong data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1085\">unilateral actions<\/strong> that would change the current situation, especially if mixed with <strong data-start=\"1150\" data-end=\"1160\">force<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1176\">coercion<\/strong>. They reiterated the need for <strong data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1242\">peace<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1260\">stability<\/strong> in the region, including the <strong data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1304\">Taiwan Strait<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1547\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Recently, a <strong data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1346\">Philippine vessel<\/strong> was hit by a <strong data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1379\">water cannon<\/strong> and even rammed on October 12. This is one of a series of incidents involving <strong data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1501\">Chinese<\/strong> ships against Philippine vessels.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1814\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">On the other hand, <strong data-start=\"1583\" data-end=\"1594\">Beijing<\/strong> rejected the statement and considered it interference. According to a spokesperson for China's foreign ministry, the events were misrepresented and said that the situation in the seas in question remained \"stable.\"<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1816\" data-end=\"2008\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">China insists that the <strong data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"1856\">Taiwan<\/strong> issue is part of its <strong data-start=\"1879\" data-end=\"1899\">internal affairs<\/strong>.
