The petition includes his previous case with former President Rodrigo Duterte against Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on March 11, 2025.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"1094\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">According to Dela Rosa's lawyer, Israelito Torreon, the court must fulfill its role as the final reviewer of legal and constitutional issues to safeguard Philippine sovereignty.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1331\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Dela Rosa also asked the court to acknowledge Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla's statement that he has an arrest warrant. However, the DOJ, DFA, and DILG assured that there is no formal warrant against Dela Rosa yet.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1551\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Dagdag pa ni Torreon, may panganib na muli siyang maaresto o maipasa sa ibang bansa nang walang due process.
