This is a step to ensure the rapid movement of <strong data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"626\">responders<\/strong> in Luzon, as directed by <strong data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"695\">President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"999\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to <strong data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"744\">SMC Chairman and CEO Ramon S. Ang<\/strong>, the company is coordinating with the <strong data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"822\">Department of Transportation (DOTr)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"857\">Toll Regulatory Board (TRB)<\/strong> to implement the President's order. \"Our main goal is to have responders reach the affected communities immediately,\" Ang said.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1334\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">SMC has deployed <strong data-start=\"1022\" data-end=\"1043\">tollway personnel<\/strong> along various expressways to guide emergency convoys and ensure their safe and smooth passage. SMC Infrastructure covers more than <strong data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1243\">200 kilometers of expressways<\/strong> in Luzon, including the <strong data-start=\"1267\" data-end=\"1332\">Skyway System, SLEX, STAR Tollway, TPLEX, and NAIA Expressway.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1680\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Before the typhoon hit, the company sent <strong data-start=\"1387\" data-end=\"1408\">maintenance crews<\/strong> to inspect and clean drainage, repair roads and billboards, and prepare <strong data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1548\">quick-response teams and heavy equipment<\/strong> in flood-prone areas.
