The report showed that <strong data-start=\"427\" data-end=\"451\">the highest number of calls<\/strong> were received in <strong data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"526\">August (1,037), September (1,036), and June (1,002)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"697\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to the NCMH, this number is <strong data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"576\">32.95%<\/strong> of the total <strong data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"605\">21,815 calls<\/strong> from people suffering from severe emotional problems over a nine-month period.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"920\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Most callers have <strong data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"757\">anxiety and depression<\/strong>, followed by problems with <strong data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"808\">love, family<\/strong>, and those seeking <strong data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"842\">referrals<\/strong>. The fifth reason is <strong data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"917\">the need for someone to talk to<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"1114\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Since its launch in 2019, the hotline has recorded <strong data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"1007\">over 115,618 calls<\/strong>, mostly from <strong data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1057\">ages 18 to 30<\/strong> and residents of <strong data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1111\">NCR, Calabarzon, and Central Luzon<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1116\" data-end=\"1297\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">You can call toll-free at <strong data-start=\"1147\" data-end=\"1166\">1553 (landline)<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"1172\" data-end=\"1201\">0919-057-1553 (Smart\/TNT)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1233\">0917-899-8727 (Globe\/TM)<\/strong> for immediate mental health help and support.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1385\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1385\" data-is-last-node=\"\">(Note: The original text mentioned $610 million \u2014 converted to PHP \u2248 \u20b135.7 billion.)<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) ay nakatanggap ng 7,189 tawag na may kaugnayan sa pagpapakamatay mula Enero hanggang Setyembre 2025.
