Bong Go<\/strong>, his relatives, and <strong data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"411\">former President Rodrigo Duterte<\/strong> for allegedly embezzling nearly <strong data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"461\">\u20b17 billion<\/strong> in projects in Davao. Trillanes submitted the complaint to the <strong data-start=\"526\" data-end=\"553\">Office of the Ombudsman<\/strong> on Tuesday, October 21.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"962\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The complaint includes Bong Go's father and half-brother, who are alleged owners of <strong data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"677\">CLTG Builders<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"701\">Alfrego Builders<\/strong>. According to Trillanes, from <strong data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"752\">2016 until now<\/strong>, these companies allegedly secured contracts worth up to \u20b17 billion, mostly in <strong data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"857\">Davao City<\/strong> and other areas in <strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"895\">Davao Region<\/strong> where members of the <strong data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"959\">Duterte family<\/strong> held office.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1269\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Trillanes also said that approximately \u20b1816 million in contracts came from a joint venture of CLTG Builders, Alfrego Builders, and St. Gerrard Construction. He alleged that political connections were used to secure the projects, which he said was a clear example of plunder.<span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><\/p><p data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"1524\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">This is not Trillanes' first complaint. In <strong data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1333\">July 2024<\/strong>, he also filed a <strong data-start=\"1356\" data-end=\"1381\">plunder and graft case<\/strong> against Duterte and Go over contracts worth <strong data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1456\">\u20b16.6 billion<\/strong> that allegedly went to companies connected to the Go family.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1788\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Trillanes said the first complaint was not investigated due to the alleged cover-up by the former prosecutor general.
