In the incident, <strong data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"574\">1 was killed and 7 were injured<\/strong>, including a student.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"885\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The UV Express was destroyed and its tire burst after repeated collisions. CCTV footage shows the vehicle <strong data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"741\">continuing to run<\/strong> despite being followed by a motorcycle. According to witnesses, the incident was intentional because it spun around three times before stopping.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"887\" data-end=\"1176\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">One \u200b\u200bof the fatalities was a <strong data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"938\">34-year-old delivery rider<\/strong> from Quezon City. According to the family, the driver showed no remorse. Seven others were injured. The suspect is now in custody and has apologized, but his wife insists he is taking medication for high blood pressure and asthma.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1429\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The driver is being subjected to a <strong data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1208\">drug test<\/strong> to determine if he has used illegal drugs. Possible charges include <strong data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1427\">Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide, Multiple Physical Injuries, Multiple Damage to Properties, and Frustrated Homicide.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1678\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The Department of Transportation issued a decision that <strong data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1530\">the driver's license has been canceled for life<\/strong>.
