According to him, about 100 to 200 people are being investigated and 67 of them are congressmen related to the contract.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"870\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Remulla said some cases are easy to file while others need to be strengthened with evidence. \u201cWe know there is a case, but the challenge is how to prove it in court,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"1208\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">In addition, he also plans to reopen to the public the <em data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"984\">Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN)<\/em> of officials, including former President Rodrigo Duterte, President Marcos, and Vice President Sara Duterte. He will issue a <em data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1133\">memorandum<\/em> on October 15 to reverse the previous limitation on the release of SALNs.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1467\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">He also explained that those requesting SALN must have a clear reason, especially if it is to be used for <em data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1355\">investigative journalism<\/em>. In exchange for providing information, the Ombudsman also wants to receive data from journalists.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1703\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Remulla added that it is possible to remove some sensitive details from the SALN to protect the privacy of the official.
