Kiko Barzaga<\/strong>, Malaca\u00f1ang said. It said it is within the <strong data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"654\">jurisdiction of the House of Representatives<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"887\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Barzaga presented a <strong data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"724\">prepared impeachment complaint<\/strong> against Marcos. According to him, the President violated the <strong data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"802\">public trust<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"810\" data-end=\"826\">Constitution<\/strong>, due to the alleged <strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"884\">corruption in flood control projects<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"889\" data-end=\"1111\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to <strong data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"945\">Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro<\/strong>, the President is so busy right now that he doesn't understand this kind of issue. \u201c<strong data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1091\">If there is no evidence, it should not be believed<\/strong>,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1331\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Castro also mentioned that impeachment has a limit \u2014 it can only be initiated against the same official once per year.
