It has reached <strong data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"525\">5,982 aftershocks<\/strong>, of which 1,219 were plotted and 25 were felt by residents.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"836\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The strongest aftershock this Sunday was a <strong data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"663\">4.4 magnitude<\/strong> with a depth of 10 kilometers in <strong data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"715\">Bogo City, Cebu<\/strong>. It was felt in <strong data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"766\">Daanbantayan (Intensity II)<\/strong> and in <strong data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"796\">Leyte (Intensity I)<\/strong> such as Villaba, Abuyog, and Carigara.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"1074\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to Geologist <strong data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"873\">Mahar Lagmay<\/strong>, it is normal for many aftershocks to occur after a strong earthquake because \"the fault is still adjusting.\" He added that this may last for <strong data-start=\"1014\" data-end=\"1040\">a month or more<\/strong>, but it is gradually weakening.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1326\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The NDRRMC reported <strong data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1100\">71 deaths<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1119\">559 injuries<\/strong>. Also affected were <strong data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1175\">455,631 individuals<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1197\">128,464 families<\/strong> in 15 cities and towns. There are <strong data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1245\">26,542 evacuees<\/strong>, of which 25,291 are outside evacuation centers and 1,251 are inside.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1328\" data-end=\"1435\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">A total of <strong data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1352\">\u20b1713 million<\/strong> was reported in infrastructure damage and <strong data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1418\">18,154 houses<\/strong> were damaged.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ang Phivolcs ay nakapagtala ng halos 6,000 aftershocks sa Northern Cebu matapos ang 6.9 magnitude na lindol noong Setyembre 30, 2025.
