On a test track in Germany, it reached <strong data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"619\">496.22 km\/h (308.4 mph)<\/strong> or almost <strong data-start=\"628\" data-end=\"669\">\u20b113.6 million in speeding fines<\/strong> at that speed!<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"1080\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Last August, the <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"726\">U9X<\/strong> was also recognized as the <strong data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"776\">fastest EV<\/strong> after reaching <strong data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"825\">490.484 km\/h (304.48 mph)<\/strong>. Production of this hypercar is limited, with <strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"896\">only 30 units<\/strong> to be built worldwide. The <strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"936\">\u201cX\u201d<\/strong> stands for <strong data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"970\">\u201cExtreme\u201d<\/strong>, but BYD also intended it to show the <strong data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1045\">exploration and innovation<\/strong> that their technology brings.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1527\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The <strong data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1103\">U9X<\/strong> uses the same architecture as the U9 hypercar sold in China. It has a <strong data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1219\">1200-volt ultra-high-voltage system<\/strong> (higher than 800V), <strong data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1270\">LiFePO4 Blade Battery<\/strong> with a high discharge rate, <strong data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1333\">four high-speed motors<\/strong> that reach up to 30,000 rpm and provide over <strong data-start=\"1387\" data-end=\"1406\">3000 horsepower<\/strong>, as well as <strong data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1452\">track-level semi-slick tires<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1456\" data-end=\"1478\">DiSus-X suspension<\/strong> specially tuned for extreme speeds.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1843\" class=\" translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">According to <strong data-start=\"1538\" data-end=\"1551\">Stella Li<\/strong>, Executive VP of BYD: <em data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1841\">\u201cThis is a very proud moment for our R&amp;D team. Yangwang is a brand that believes nothing is impossible. Thanks to the entire team and driver Marc Basseng for their skill and trust.
